Right now members of the Congregational Care Ministry are reaching out to the congregation in an “each one, touch one” effort to create meaningful one-on-one contact with our members over the next several weeks. Their prayer is that they are able to provide emotional, spiritual, and practical support to fellow congregants.
They are trained to offer empathy and understanding, helping members cope with challenges, grief, or loneliness. They will offer a listening ear, compassion, and assistance, if needed.
Or your caregiver may simply act as a source of comfort and encouragement, providing spiritual support through prayer and Bible study
CRISES SUPPORT
If you are a member of our church experiencing a death in your family or a spiritual emergency, please let your Congregational Caregiver know so that they can be prayerful and responsive to your needs. Their training is useful in times of crises, enabling them to act as your first point of contact, offering immediate support and resources.
What we are trying to say is that you are not alone.
The Congregational Caregivers are excited about working and reaching out to each of you to understand your spiritual and/or physical needs.
