Have you and your family been blessed?  You can show gratitude by providing hot menu items for our needy brothers and sisters or serving Sunday Dinner at the Embry Rucker Shelter in Reston on Sunday, March 19, 2023.  Heritage will provide a meal for about 75 residents.  You may drop off hot menu items at the shelter located at 11975 Bowman Towne Dr., Reston, VA, 20190, between 3 PM and 4:30 PM. We especially need volunteers to serve the meal from 4:30 to 6:30 PM.

The Fairfax County Hypothermia Shelter will be in need of hot meals for those who have come in for reprieve from the cold for their final two sessions this season, March 4 and March 25

On Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, 2022, Heritage congregation members will provide a holiday dinner at the Embry Rucker Shelter located at 11975 Bowman Towne Dr, Reston, VA 20190. Please prayerfully consider how you might help our brothers and sisters in need by providing the menu items for dinner at the shelter or helping serve dinner from the shelter kitchen.

There are two options to support Heritage preparations of Father's Day dinner for the residents of the shelter you can pick an item from the menu and deliver it to the rear of the shelter between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. OR there are five volunteer slots for those who would be willing to help serve the dinner to the residents on Father's Day.

Heritage is scheduled to serve and provide the meal for Embry Rucker Shelter this Sunday, May 14, 2022.  We are in urgent need of families to donate the menu items for the meals.  Please click below to sign up for menu items needed to round out our meal. Your prepared food donations may be dropped off at the shelter between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. to the rear  of the shelter and placed on the tables provided for drop offs.
