Heritage Fellowship Church has Resumed In-Person Worship Services!
As part of a phased approach to opening the church for normal operations, 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services have been merged into one service at 10:45 a.m. and we welcome the entire family to worship together. Safety protocols have been implemented to protect the congregation, our guests and the worship leaders. Space is limited.
Virtual worship will be available for those unable to attend.
What to expect:
Register to Attend Service by Saturday Evening*.
Pre-registration allows the church to prepare the building for social distancing protocols and other safety measures. As part of the preregistration process, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire that will be used by the health department for contract tracing, if needed. The registration form will be accessible online via the church website. *If you were unable to pre-register, on-site registration will be available.
- Early Arrival Recommended
Entrance to the church will be through four check-in stations accessible through the rear courtyard of the building. Participants are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to process through the stations. At the stations, your name will be checked on the registration list and your vaccination status will be verified.
- Safety Protocols Inside the Building
- Masks will be required for all participants while in the building
- Hand sanitation stands will be available and restrooms will be open on the main level.
- Movement will be restricted to designated areas in the building. Specifically, the upper and lower levels are currently closed. Follow the direction of the Ushers.
- The sanctuary will be limiting the number of worshipers with three feet social distancing enforced (Max. 300 units)
- Tithes and Offerings Collected Differently
Perhaps no time in our church history has your offering been more critical for the operations and sustainability of our church. Simply put, we need you to support the ministries here at Heritage! In lieu of passing the plate during service, we are encouraging our members to take advantage of our online giving at heritagereston.org/give. In addition, you may give as you enter or exit the sanctuary.
- Communion Elements Distributed on First Sunday
The communion elements will be distributed ain individual packages as you enter the sanctuary.
- Pass the Peace with Creativity
It is important that our members and guests know we have missed them and we are thrilled to be in corporate worship and prayer together. However, we need to remain safe. In lieu of the warm hugs we've come to expect during a service at Heritage we are asking the congregation to be creative with your greetings: air hugs, worship waves, smiling eyes... we encourage you to be creative but remain safe.
While we have created a handbook to answer your most frequently asked questions, we anticipate these protocols may be modified over time. Please check back here for additional information and/or confirm the church has your appropriate email address.
We are thankful we are able to welcome you back to the Heritage Fellowship Church Campus!
We ask for your prayers as we endeavor to create a worship environment
that edifies the Word and protects us all.
