The Community Outreach Ministry is dedicated to making a positive impact locally, nationally, and globally. Through resources and partnerships, we support underserved populations, provide essential resources, and create opportunities for growth and transformation.
Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Ministry at Heritage serves Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and the District of Columbia, partnering with local agencies to support initiatives with Embry Rucker and Fairfax County Hypothermia Shelters, addressing food and housing insecurity. We also bring joy to families through our annual Angel Gift Tag program at Christmas. These efforts provide meaningful opportunities for the congregation to engage in fellowship and service, making a lasting community impact.
Careers Ministry
Our mission is to empower members through every phase of their professional journey by providing biblically grounded guidance, professional development resources, and a nurturing, faith-driven community. Rooted in spiritual purpose and practical support, the ministry is built on three core pillars:
- Navigating Career Transitions, which offers tools, training, guidance, and donated contributions to prepare for employment, navigate job transitions, or job progressions.
- Advancing in Leadership, which encourages growth as spiritually-centered leaders within the church, careers, or communities through development, mentoring, and coaching.
- Empowering Business Owners, which facilitates access to experts, resources, and support for current and aspiring entrepreneurs to launch, grow, and sustain businesses.
Health & Wellness
The Health and Wellness Ministry informs and educates the Congregation and the community on mental health and wellness through programs of advocacy, health education, preventative care, and health screenings. The ministry also provides and supports church-wide and community-based health and wellness activities.

Intercessory Prayer
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is dedicated to continuous, effectual, fervent prayer and intercession by the Holy Spirit for our Pastor and his family, our church leaders, ministries, members, the local community, the church universal, the United States and all nations of the world.
Missions
The Missions Ministry is dedicated to sharing the Gospel and advancing God’s Kingdom around the world. We lead and partner with organizations to bring the message of Christ to those in need, while also providing discipleship and mentoring support for missionaries serving in international locations.
Through these efforts, we strive to inspire faith, build relationships, and equip individuals to carry out the Great Commission across the globe.
S.H.A.R.E. Food Program
The Self Help and Resource Exchange (S.H.A.R.E.) Cooperative Food Program is available to all members and the surrounding community. Heritage also offers a variety of high-quality food items at significantly reduced prices through the S.H.A.R.E. Value Package. By purchasing directly from growers, brokers, and packaging plants, S.H.A.R.E. ensures nutritious meals for all, with no donated, government surplused, or salvaged food.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry at Heritage Fellowship Church is a Christ-centered care ministry offering support to individuals facing crisis, transition, or emotional hardship. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus, this ministry provides compassionate, one-on-one care through trained Stephen Ministers who walk alongside those in need, offering a listening ear, prayer, and encouragement.
ASL Ministry
The ASL Ministry shares the Word of God through American Sign Language, making the Gospel accessible to all, especially the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We learn and sign Bible verses, Gospel songs, and sermons, growing in both faith and language. Open to all, we strive to use every resource to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord.
