Grief Share
Heritage Fellowship Church is honored to host GriefShare, a trusted grief recovery ministry that has helped millions of people navigate the difficult journey of dealing with grief.
You don’t have to face grief by yourself.
Grief Sharing
Grief is a journey no one should have to walk alone.
Whether your loss happened recently or years ago, grief can affect every part of life. If you’re looking for understanding, encouragement, and practical support, GriefShare provides a caring community where you can find hope alongside others who understand what you’re experiencing.
What Is GriefShare?
GriefShare is a welcoming, faith-based support group designed for people grieving the loss of a family member or close friend. Every session combines biblical encouragement with practical tools to help participants understand grief, process difficult emotions, and move toward healing.
Each meeting includes:
- A professionally produced video featuring grief counselors, pastors, and people who have experienced loss.
- Supportive group discussion led by trained and compassionate facilitators.
- A personal workbook filled with helpful exercises, reflections, and resources to continue your healing throughout the week.
You are never required to speak or share your story. Many people choose to simply listen during their first few meetings, and that’s perfectly okay.
No matter where you are in your grief journey, you’ll be welcomed with compassion, understanding, and respect.
How GriefShare Works?
Each weekly GriefShare meeting follows a simple and supportive format designed to help you heal at your own pace.
Watch
Every session begins with a video featuring trusted grief experts and real people who share honest stories about navigating loss.
Learn
The videos address common challenges such as loneliness, difficult emotions, holidays, relationships, forgiveness, and finding hope after loss.
Connect
After the video, participants have the opportunity to discuss what they’ve learned in a confidential, caring environment. Sharing is always voluntary.
Grow
You’ll receive a workbook with practical insights, personal reflections, and helpful exercises to continue your healing between sessions.
Every session is designed to remind you that healing is possible—and that you don’t have to walk through grief alone.
Who Is GriefShare For?
- Anyone grieving the death of a spouse, parent, child, sibling, relative, or friend.
- Those experiencing a recent loss.
- Those carrying grief from years ago.
- People of any faith background—or no church background at all.
